This concert is in collaboration with Instituto Cervantes and Leeds City of Languages Festival.

Monica Garcia is a Spanish flamenco singer from Frailes, a small village in the province of Jaén, Andalusia. She discovered her passion for flamenco at the age of nine and developed her artistry through self-study, drawing inspiration from legendary flamenco singers such as La Niña de los Peines and La Perla. After moving to Granada, she became involved in flamenco fusion projects while training for several years at the Locura Flamenca Academy in Alcalá la Real. Seeking to further her career, Monica later moved to London, where she has established herself as a respected flamenco vocalist. She has performed throughout the UK, Spain, Ireland and Finland, and continues to work with a variety of flamenco companies and ensembles, bringing authenticity, passion and tradition to every performance.
Marcos Morales has performed internationally, as well as at various editions of Córdoba's Noche Blanca del Flamenco, numerous festivals, peñas flamencas (flamenco clubs), and tablaos across Spain. He has taught masterclasses across the country, as well as in Mexico, London, Nottingham, Leeds, and beyond. He trained under renowned masters of Spanish Dance and Flamenco, including Javier Latorre, Olga Pericet, Eva la Yerbabuena, Daniel Doña, Belén López, Manuel Liñán, Marco Flores, Concha Jareño, Carmen La Talegona, Inmaculada Aguilar, Maica Moyano, and Rafael del Pino "Keko," among many others. Based in Madrid since 2009, Marcos Morales is currently a Flamenco Dance Instructor at the Professional Dance Conservatory of Murcia.
Born in Barcelona and based in London, guitarist Adrián Solá is an accomplished and sought-after accompanist for the traditions of flamenco dance and song. He showed an early interest in music, borrowing his father’s guitar at the age of 12. What began as a hobby soon became a passion, leading him to study musical language, harmony, jazz flute and flamenco guitar at the Modern Music School of Badalona. Since moving to London in 2006, Adrián has been active in the flamenco scene, collaborating organisations like Shakespeare’s Globe, Elmhurst Ballet School, Live Music Now, Ilusión Flamenca, La Escuela de Baile and Flamenco Academy. He has performed at events and venues including the Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, España on Fire at Ronnie Scott's, Tapas Fantásticas, La Feria de Londres, Flamenco Festival, La Isla Flamenco Club, Flamenco Nights by Amantia Events, Flamenco de Leeds, Fin de Fiesta, Instituto Cervantes and others.
