A Commitment to Excellence

We strive for artistic brilliance by showcasing world-class professional musicians from across the globe. Each performance is crafted to inspire, challenge, and delight, delivering moments that exceed expectations and stay with you long after the final note.

Enriching Leeds' Cultural Landscape

As a proud part of Leeds' vibrant cultural life, we collaborate with leading arts institutions to share innovative ideas and music with broader audiences. Our series strengthens the city’s creative pulse while reaching out to communities in the wider region.

Empowering Tomorrow's Musicians

Supporting young and emerging talent is at the heart of what we do. From offering masterclasses and workshops to giving students and alumni the spotlight, we nurture future musicians and composers, helping them thrive in their professional journeys.

A Diverse Celebration of Sound

Each season, our concert series offers a captivating mix of musical genres, ranging from celebrated classics and innovative contemporary works to the soulful rhythms of jazz and the storytelling traditions of folk. By embracing this rich diversity and supporting the School of Music's research, we honor the artistry of historical composers, modern creators, and the vibrant legacies of jazz and folk traditions.

Open and Accessible to All

We believe music should be for everyone. Our Friday lunchtime concerts provide free (or pay as you feel), welcoming experiences for all, ensuring accessibility for the university community, the people of Leeds, and beyond. Students and under-16s enjoy free entry to all performances.
