Discover Dongyang Gozupa, a genre-defying Korean trio where traditional music meets post-rock and psychedelic energy. Following their acclaimed London debut in 2021, they return to the UK with a dynamic new sound, presenting signature works alongside new material from their forthcoming release. Their music combines the Yanggeum, a Korean metal-stringed zither, with bass and percussion to create powerful, rhythm-driven soundscapes. Selected as an official WOMEX showcase artist for two consecutive years (2020–2021), Dongyang Gozupa have built an international reputation through performances at WOMAD Chile, Rainforest World Music Festival, London’s Southbank Centre and Lincoln Center in New York. Their wordless music connects Korean tradition, innovation and global contemporary sounds.
