Students take to the Clothworkers Bar stage to perform popular, musical theatre and jazz repertoire. A relaxed night with mood lighting, DJ sets, and live performance.

Kalila Hambloch
Kalila is a multi-genre DJ, vocalist, and community musician hailing from East London. Inspired by the London electronic dance music scene growing up, Kalila emerged as an up and coming DJ on the Leeds scene a couple of years ago, and has since played a variety of genres across the city, with focusses on footwork, UK bass, hardcore, and house. Recently, Kalila has led the revival of an 'open decks' series in the School of Music, alongside a four week long beginners DJ skills workshop for SoM students, with the hope that students from all walks of life might fall in love with the art of DJing too!
Lucy Evers
Lucy is a jazz and soul singer based in Leeds. She fuses soul, neo-soul and jazz, drawing on influences from Raye, Eloise and Olivia Dean. Lucy is currently writing and recording an EP, and is gigging a lot around Leeds. For LEAF, she's working with her good friend and guitarist, Tamara Baxter-Allen, bringing mellow stripped back sound together for good vibes.
Ellie Stainsby
Ellie Stainsby is an ethereal singer-song writer and pianist from Nottingham. Her acoustic-folky sound resonates with all listeners, allowing each person to interpret her poetic lyrics in their own way. She has played venues such as: The Bodega, Rescue Rooms, Metronome, Rough Trade, Troubadour London and more. With on-going links to the Young Creatives and The Hustle Collective , she has also played festivals such as Splendour, Dot to Dot, Beat the Streets, Hockley Hustle, Green Hustle, and many more. Her debut single "Silence no sound" was released in March 2023 and is available on all streaming platforms.
Lydia-Faith Smith
Lydia-Faith is a second-year student studying MA/BA Music and Music Psychology. With a passion for jazz, gospel and expressive performance, she enjoys bringing both classic and new songs to life.
Ben Finlay
Ben is a cellist, composer, and pianist, and alumnus of University of Leeds and Royal Academy of Music. As a soloist and chamber musician, has had the opportunity to perform at venues such as the Howard Assembly Rooms in Leeds and the Purcell Room in London, as well as 3 chamber/solo appearances at Ryedale Festival in Yorkshire. The most notable of these being a 2016 performance of James McMillan’s Kiss on Wood in Ryedale.
