The Ashatones are a close-knit group of professional musicians and friends who began singing together at the University of Leeds in 2013. Their journey together has seen them headline major venues across the UK, and, more recently, feature in a national TV advertising campaign. Since becoming the first ever barbershop quartet to appear at a Sofar Sounds concert, they have become a mainstay of the London live music scene and have continued to host workshops and perform at private events.
For today’s concert, expect to hear an eclectic range of original arrangements – both old and new – spanning various decades and musical genres.
