They are arriving from Germany; 45 singers on their first Yorkshire tour!

The Weimar University of Music Chamber Choir regularly takes part in national and international choir competitions. Recent prizes have included 2nd place in the German Choir Competition 2014, in which the choir was promoted with the highest possible predicate “Outstanding”. In 2009 the Chamber Choir also won a 2nd prize in the international choir competition “Florilège vocal de Tours”.

The Chamber Choir frequently performs throughout Germany and are a cultural ambassador of the Federal State of Thuringia. Furthermore, the choir regularly sings concerts across Europe and around the world, including USA, Brazil, Ukraine and Israel.
