Sarah is in her fourth and final year studying music at the University of Leeds, studying with Jennifer George. The last academic year Sarah undertook a year abroad where she studied in the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Castilla y León in Salamanca, Spain; studying with Pablo Sagredo, flautist of the ‘Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León’. Sarah had a wonderful year abroad with many fantastic opportunities such as playing Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade in the conservatorio’s orchestra, participating in master classes with various renowned flautists, and watching world-class flautist Emmanuel Pahud play Ibert’s Flute Concerto with the Castilla y León Orchestra.
