Morgana is a Welsh Soprano in her final year studying the BMus Performance course at the University of Leeds, having spent her 3rd year at the Académie Supérieure de Musique de Strasbourg. During her time at university she has been an active member of a variety of choirs, including the National Youth Choir of Great Britain, with whom she has sung in live broadcasts on BBC Radio 3. She made her opera debut in 2011 as Mrs Jaffett in Noye’s Fludde – Britten at the Llangollen International Eisteddfod, and has since performed the roles of Micaëla in Bizet’s Carmen, Donna Elvira in Mozart’s Don Giovanni (Leeds University Opera Society) and the title role in Pauline Viardot’s Cendrillon (Northern Opera Group). Up-coming projects include a lead role in a newly commissioned opera film by Welsh National Opera, to be shown in cinemas in the winter of 2017.

Morgana looks forward to performing song cycles by composers Schumann, Debussy, and Roger Quilter in her Finalist Platform recital.
