Family Concert - Tall Tailes

Date
Date
Sunday 14 September 2014, 3.00pm - 4.20pm

Pete Coe

Pete plays some incredible instruments and sings super songs about awesome animals, brave beasts and crafty creatures. Songs with stories, actions and a carnival of choruses. Follow the adventures of the sailor and the mermaid, the frog who married a mouse, the wicked wolf and the plucky pig, the hungry fox, the rat on a submarine and hear how King Arthur finally got his horse. Pete knows a lot of singing games and clapping rhymes and he'd like to hear some of yours. He's got some dances too and he can show you how to make up some of your own new dances, just like the old ones but even better! He's sung and played all over the world from New Zealand to the USA, from Lithuania to London from Bangladesh, to Bradford. He recorded many of his TALL TAILES songs on a CD with children from his local primary school singing all the choruses. But it's best of all if you come and join in with Pete.
